A few tips for good locations:

It must not be privately owned land - so National Trust/privately owned estates aren't permitted

There must be parking nearby (bonus points if it's free and plentiful!)

I love places that have some trees - they provide gentle shade on sunny days, which is perfect for portraits

Locations that have at least some parts that are accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs are ideal

Local parks, woodland walks or riverside settings are all great!
