Outdoor family photo shoots are my most popular session type as they are suitable for all ages and allow the children to run around and just have fun! If your child is camera shy then this means there's no need to worry as the session is totally relaxed and child-led. With my background as a primary school teacher, we'll enjoy exploring our chosen location here in beautiful Yorkshire, playing games, and usually catching a few bubbles too. My style is very relaxed and informal with a laid-back and approachable feel, creating a comfortable and fun atmosphere.

We can capture any mix of photos that you would like - whether you want the focus to be on the children, include lots of shots with the grown-ups, or a combination of both, we'll discuss your preferences at the start of the session so I know exactly what you have in mind.

I have a wide selection of Yorkshire locations that I use frequently, which work well and are great fun for children, with convenient parking and good accessibility — mostly dotted around the Skipton, Ilkley, Bradford, North Leeds, and Harrogate areas. When you get in touch to book in, I'll be pleased to give you my recommendations tailored to you and your family based on your preferences and needs.

I'm happy to travel to a wide range of areas in North and West Yorkshire including:

Skipton, Craven and the surrounding areas up into the Yorkshire Dales such as Settle and Grassington

I offer a straightforward pricing structure for my outdoor family photo sessions, with no hidden costs. Each session includes the photoshoot and all the best images, typically 50+ (but usually more!). These are carefully edited and delivered via a high-resolution digital download in your private, password-protected online gallery. I will never try to upsell you extra images - I always include absolutely all the good images from our shoot as it is important to me that you receive as wide a selection as possible from our session. This ensures no hidden extras - you’ll have full access to your images, ready to download, print and share as you wish. You are not tied in to me for prints (though prints can be ordered through your online gallery should you wish).

Availability: Monday to Friday, primarily during term time with limited holiday availability. Session Time: Usually from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, with flexibility if needed. Locations: West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, and Lancashire. Includes: Edited digital images--no hidden extra costs.

The all-inclusive fixed fee includes the following:

Your photo shoot, which will last approximately an hour and a half at an agreed location within approximately 45 minutes drive from BD20;
I will then select all the best images and will individually and carefully edit these - this stage usually takes around a week;
Your own password protected online gallery from where you can view and download the edited photos in high resolution. The photos can be viewed and downloaded as many times as you want, so feel free to send the link around your family if they'd like their own copies too.

Your payment is broken down as follows:

A £50 non refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure your chosen date (of course we can reschedule if it rains at no extra charge);
The remaining balance is then due on or before the date of the shoot;
Payment can be made securely online using credit/debit card, bank transfer, or cash on the day if preferred.

I like to keep my pricing simple, with no hidden costs or upselling. This is why I charge a fixed fee which includes both the photo shoot and all the best edited digital images from the day (at least 50+ but usually many more). Should you wish to purchase prints through me then you are able to do so easily online via your gallery, however you aren't tied in to me for prints and you are welcome to use your downloaded files at any print lab you choose.

1 - contact me

Either using the Contact Me button below, or send me an email at [email protected].
I’ll send you through some location suggestions as well as a link to my online booking calendar so you can easily see what dates are available.

2 - £50 deposit

After you’ve selected your chosen date and time, I’ll send you an online payment link so that you can pay the £50 deposit to secure the booking. You can pay using debit/credit card or Apple/Google Wallet. Now you’re all set!

3 - before the shoot

In the run up to the shoot, I’ll be in touch again to arrange the finer details like exactly where to meet, answering any questions you might have and sending you my What to Expect guide. We’ll keep an eye on the weather too just in case the forecast is wet and we decide it’s best to reschedule.

4 - after the shoot

The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot, and you can pay using the same online link as the deposit. Meanwhile, I’ll get busy editing all the best photos (at least 50, but usually many more). Your gallery will be ready about a week after the shoot, and you can then download all the photos.
